Parents and teachers have always been an integral part of the JumpStart family. From printable worksheets and fun activities to a wide array of articles on parenting, lifestyle, health, and more, we at JumpStart always strive to offer the best resources to help you and the kids through different stages and grades.

Teachers are the backbone of every child’s learning curve. JumpStart, along with many of our moms, would love to hear what you have to say! From teaching tips and information on various topics to suggested activities, worksheets and other things you’d love to contribute, send it all in.

What You Can Submit

JumpStart would love to hear from you! If you are a teacher or parent and have ideas for educational resources or have designed something of your own, then this is the perfect platform for you!

You can submit any of the following:

• Worksheets, Activities, Crafts, Lesson Plans – for kids from preschool to Grade 5, on any subject. These resources could also be seasonal or holiday-themed.
  Please refer to our already existing worksheets (for example: Clear the Confusion, It All Multiplies), activities (for example: Change Change, Mad Poet), crafts (for example: Mini Cactus, New Year Hat) and lesson plans (for example: 1st Grade Sight Words, Prime Focus) and follow a similar tone and format.
• JumpStart Moms articles – If you are a parent or have first-hand experience on topics related to kids, health, parenting, lifestyle, or even some fun summer activity ideas for families, then send it in! (See Fun Easter Activity Ideas for the Family, All You Need to Know About Potty Training.)
• Videos – Why not let the world see and hear you? You can send in your submissions in the form of a video. Your videos can be any of the following:
  • Crafts
  • Recipes
  • On various topics like cyber bullying, developmental stages, etc

Send in as many as you like and, if your submission is accepted, we’ll be happy to feature your submissions on our website!

How You Can Submit

Dash us an email with ‘Submissions’ in the subject line and attach your work. In your email, do give us as many details about you as possible – are you a parent or teacher, what do you do, have you had any writing experience before, what are your interests and hobbies, etc. We’d love to learn more about you!

Important Guidelines:

1. Please ensure what you submit is original and authored by you.
2. Ensure that all content is factually correct and appropriate for the age group it targets.
3. Mention the grade/s that your submission is meant for.
4. Try and include video bites from other people, with their permission, who can add value to the topic of your video. For example, if you are talking about teenage tantrums, you can include a clip of a parent who has dealt with, or is dealing with, the same situation. However, please do not include any children or other personally identifiable information in your video.

Selection Process

• We will go through all your submissions and pick the ones that best suit our website, are factually correct, acceptable, compliant with our Privacy Policy, and are engaging.
• It may take us three to four weeks to revert with further details if your submission has been selected.
• Once your submission has been featured on our website, you will receive an email informing you about it. Go ahead, proudly display and share your work featured on JumpStart.com with your family and friends!

Note: All submissions are subject to the following terms and conditions:

• All content or information submitted becomes JumpStart property and will not be returned.
• JumpStart may use those submissions use it any way, in its sole discretion, wherever, however and whenever it chooses without notifying or paying you.
• The content uploaded must be your or your child’s original work and not infringe on the copyright or trademark, rights of privacy or publicity to any person.
• You or your child’s submission is free and clear of any claims or encumbrances.
• Anything submitted by you or your child may be available for use and viewing by the public.
• For videos, please ensure that you have all the necessary permissions – for example, if your video features kids, you should have permission from their parents. Do not include any personally identifiable information in your video.
• You give up any privacy expectations you may have regarding the content.
• You hold JumpStart and its officers harmless from and against – and hereby waive any right to pursue – claims of any nature arising in connection with JumpStart’s use of the content or information submitted.
