Spring Craft with Kids
Spring crafts are a great way to welcome the season with your kids. Here is a craft idea that you and your kids can work on together to reflect the liveliness of this spring season. This toilet paper bee will look great next to your spring flower craft.
What you will need:
- A toilet paper roll
- Colored construction paper – yellow, black, white and tan
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
What to do:
- Cut out four 1 inch strips of construction paper long enough to go around the toilet paper roll – two yellow and two black.
- Glue the strips around the toilet paper roll, alternating between the yellow and black strips.
- Cut out a circle from the tan construction paper for the face of the bee.
- Using the black marker, draw a smile and two eyes.
- Cut out two antennae from the black construction paper and glue them behind the face so that they stick out from the top.
- Glue the face to the top of the toilet paper roll.
- Cut out a pair of wings from the white construction paper.
- Glue the wings to the back of the bee.

Your adorable toilet paper roll bee is now ready to fly!
