Most kindergarteners are already familiar with piñatas. The fun of breaking open a piñata and rushing to gather all the goodies inside it makes it a favorite party activity for kids. However, few people know how important piñatas are in Mexican culture, or how piñatas were originally made. What better time than Cinco de Mayo to revisit this important Mexican tradition?
