Identifying and Matching Colors

Before your preschooler can correctly name a color, she must be able to identify the color when it is named for her. Practice this basic visual discrimination skill with your child using this fun coloring worksheet. Kids color in balls with different colors and then cut and paste the balls into the wheelbarrow with the correct color name. Parents can also use the fun activity suggested at the bottom of the worksheet to help kids develop their ability to recognize colors.
