3-D Snowman Greeting Card
Homemade greeting cards are always so much more appreciated than store-bought ones, but not all of them are easy to make. This 3-D snowman greeting card is perfect for kids because it's extremely simple to make, needs no fancy equipment and looks fantastic when it's done!
What you will need
- Two differently colored sheets of construction paper or card stock
- Scissors
- White glue
- Shaving cream
- Paintbrush
- Ribbon
- Buttons
- Googly eyes/ silver stones
- Glitter glue (optional)
- Sequins (optional)
What to do
- Cut one sheet of construction paper the size you want your card to be when open. Fold it in half.
- From the other sheet, cut out a rectangle a little smaller than the front of your card.
- Make sure the rectangle has an equal amount of space on each side when placed in the center of the card front.
- Make 3-D paint by mixing the shaving cream and white glue in equal parts. You won’t need more than ¼ cup each.
- Using a paintbrush, paint a snowman onto the construction paper rectangle.
- Use the material you have to give the snowman eyes, a nose, a mouth and a body.
- Cut out two thin, short strips of ribbon.
- Place one strip on the snowman’s neck and slide the second strip under the first at an angle to give the snowman a scarf.
- Use the paintbrush to cover the rest of the paper with falling snow. Your 3-D snowman painting is now ready.
- Once the painting has dried, glue it onto the card.

Decorate the rest of the card any way you wish, and you have a 3-D Christmas card that family and friends will love!
