Madagascar: My ABCs Named Finalist in ADC Best in Apps Contest

TORRANCE, CALIF. November 1, 2013 — JumpStart®’s educational mobile game, Madagascar: My ABCs, has been named one of three finalists in the Education category of the App Developers Conference (ADC) Best in Apps Contest. This contest is a part of ADC 2013, an innovative new event organized by the creators of the famed Game Developers Conference to bring together leading app developers and other industry professionals.

Madagascar: My ABCs is a robust, immersive way for preschool-aged children to learn and practice the alphabet. Based on DreamWorks Animation’s world-renown Madagascar franchise, the game brings depth to ABCs learning with letter tracing activities in three difficulty levels, an interactive Sticker Book with rhyming songs and poems to reinforce letter sounds, and a groundbreaking customization feature that children can use to take their own pictures and use them as backgrounds in the Sticker Book, allowing for increased letter reinforcement.

In addition to Madagascar: My ABCs, JumpStart has created other Madagascar-related apps, including best-selling titles Madagascar Preschool Surf N’ Slide and Madagascar Math Ops.

Find Madagascar: My ABCs for $2.99 and in a FREE version in the iTunes®, Google Play™, Amazon®, and Nook® stores.

ADC 2013 will be held November 5-7, 2013 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. It will share the same floor with GDC Next.

Assets are available upon request.
