JumpStart’s School of Dragons® Now on Android for Seamless Multiplatform Gameplay

TORRANCE, CALIF. - March 18, 2014 — JumpStart® is proud to announce the School of Dragons® game has just launched on the Android platform and is now available in Google Play™ and Amazon® app stores for Android-powered tablets. The app adds to the game’s existing, robust platform portfolio which includes an iPad app, Facebook game, and web browser game.

The School of Dragons game brings DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon franchise to life through vivid, 3D graphics and highly interactive education and mission-based gameplay. The game is one of the first educational massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) to provide players with seamless, synchronizing mobile and web gameplay. Users can have their game progress update to whatever platform they decide to play on.

"School of Dragons gives players an experience no other MMORPG can provide — players dive into a massive, live and immersive 3D world fully integrated with the famous How to Train Your Dragon franchise,” said JumpStart CEO David Lord. “This game is an extension of everything fans love about the franchise; it gives fans a way to make their interactions with the story and world a lifestyle, not just an average gaming session."

Because the game is already available on iPad, launching on the Android platform allows JumpStart to reach even deeper into the global tablet market. School of Dragons represents an integral part of the overall How to Train Your Dragon franchise, as it weaves into its gameplay storylines and features from the wildly popular movie series and animated television show. Also, as an active part of the franchise, the School of Dragons Android launch is closely preceding the June premiere of the How to Train Your Dragon 2 movie.

Since its initial web browser launch in July 2013, the game has garnered millions of users and avid fans. The Facebook version of the game was released in October 2013, and the iPad app was released globally in December 2013. Find School of Dragons mobile in the following app stores: iTunes®, Google Play™ and Amazon®.
