The dragon appeared seemingly out of nowhere, as if drawn to the green hillside found surround parts of campus. After eating its fill, this winged companion flew down to closer to the school grounds, hoping to find more resources to sustain its travels. And, it was at that moment that the Headmaster realized what was before his eyes. “It’s a Buffalord!” he exclaimed before tracking down Hiccup to help welcome the dragon. They provided it with food and followed it to its nest, tucked away on a secluded isle not far from Berk.
Hiccup looked to the book of dragons to find out that this Mystery Class dragon was well known for its armored body, potent - and sometimes curative - saliva, as well as its explosive fire! And because many Vikings had never seen an actual Buffalord until now, the sudden encounter created quite a buzz.

The group of Terrible Terrors, arrived on campus right in the middle of lunch, and that was when chaos erupted. These small but fiery creatures began running about and snatching vikings’ food. It wasn’t until Fishlegs gasped that everyone, including the dragons, seemed to stop.
Fishlegs had drawn attention to the biggest dragon of the group, the Titan Terrible Terror, who was easily identified by its larger size and its combination of red and brown. The Titan, also has larger spines that give this stoker class dragon a more daring look, but they are just as curious as their younger counterparts. Already having tunnels of their own, the Titan Screaming Death was attracted to Berk and the School of Dragons. However, at the first sound of rumblings the dragon trainers were on alert, not wanting a repeat of the past. It was Snotlout, once again, who first came face to face with this Titan while on watch. He alerted the group right away who were flabbergasted at the size of this dragon, but unlike other Vikings, the dragon trainers did not turn tail and run at the first glance.
They faced the titan and once convinced it could be a friend, the Vikings welcomed it into campus! Will you be brave enough to train a TITAN SCREAMING DEATH?Hide
Titan Stormcutters Have Emerged from Behind the Clouds!
As the School of Dragons’ campus and surrounding grounds had seen nothing but rain for the past few days, Vikings were shocked to find that with the dark clouds and thunder came a new and rare resident, the Titan Stormcutter. Alert your fellow Vikings and members of your clan so they can take the reins on our latest Titan, today!Read More
The moment the sun rose, after days of rain and thunder, Hookfang woke Snotlout up for an early morning flight. After grumbling and whining, Snoutlout finally led Hookfang for a quick fly. They had not been out long when thunder was heard in the distance. Thinking he wasn’t going to make it back home on time, both dragon and dragon trainer decided to find a cave where they could protect themselves against the rainfall.
They were making their way towards one when a huge shadow covered Hookfang, looking up Snotlout became aware of the presence of a sleeping Stormcutter. Hanging from a tree upside down, this Sharp Class dragon looked different than that of Valka's Cloudjumper. This dragon's scales were a leather like brown on some parts, its wings were a deep dark red while lightening to a pale pink.
While this majestic dragon was sleeping, Snotlout took the opportunity and flew back to Berk, with rain and all, to notify Valka of such a wondrous creature. When told of this, Valka followed Hookfang and his trainer to the cave at once. Just like Valka thought, this was a Stormcutter but not your everyday one. This was none other than a stronger, and more formidable Titan Stormcutter! Will you be taking Berk by storm and train your very own?Hide
Swoop in to Save the Day with the WINDWALKER!
While some dragons can be as bold and courageous as a Deadly Nadder, others tend to be more attuned to the gentler and cautious side - but that doesn't mean these kinds of dragons aren't daring and tenacious in their own way! Even the WINDWALKER will have you know that it's not afraid to step up to the plate when the time calls for it, especially if it means protecting their own young from grave danger. This was definitely something Heather learned after being challenged to a seemingly innocuous race.Read More
It was on her way back to Dragon's Edge with Windshear, when what Heather hoped to be a peaceful return trip quickly changed, as she and Windshear found themselves challenged by this seemingly playful Tidal Class dragon. Enticed by the desire to experience the thrilling adventure of a race between two nimble creatures, Heather chose to accept the challenge and let the two dragons tango through the air - right up until she realized that the dragon was actually leading them to a different island altogether!
Quickly returning to a more guarded approach, she and Windshear fell back to watch where this dragon headed, and they soon found themselves engaged in a mission to help their new-found friend rescue its eggs before trappers came back to collect their bounty. Play now to upgrade your adventure to include a TITAN SKRILL, discovered just recently by Hiccup and Toothless on one of their many expeditions across the uncharted islands on the outskirts of the school grounds.Read More
This strike class dragon is causing a commotion on Berk, not for its legendary destructive blasts and for the overall challenge it poses to train, but for being the first of its type to be seen on the island. It was just the other day that Hiccup and Toothless were out on patrol when they came across the ice caves of Icestorm Island. Inside they found the first of its kind, a semi-frozen Titan Skrill that had been resting and building up its energy while in a deep ice covered hibernation. Wanting to wake this dragon from its deep sleep and help train it to harness its power to live peacefully with the Vikings on Berk, Hiccup and Toothless flew back to the village for help from the twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, who eagerly helped free the rare and dangerous dragon.
This is not the first time this group of friends encounter a Skrill, if you remember the legend correctly they saved one from the hands of Dagur. However, it is the first time they, or anyone in Berk, has set eyes on the dragon in its Titan form. Although at the rate Vikings have been rushing to Titan Up their winged companions… this is certainly about to change! However, Vikings beware - while similar in appearance, this Titan Dragon has sharper and longer talons, as well as being larger in size.Hide

With its extremely dangerous reputation, this ALL-NEW Titan Dragon will stun the competition no matter where your training takes you!Read More
Hiccup knows this first hand, since it was he and Toothless who initially discovered these dragons deep within the famed Whispering Death Caves on campus. With their natural aversion to sunlight, it's no wonder that they've remained hidden for so long! It's in these very conditions that the dragon evolved to have the ability to see in the darkness and where they developed their 6-ringed jaw, which allows them to easily tunnel through even the densest of materials, including metal! But those razor sharp teeth aren't their only defense. Seasoned trainers know by now how important it is to avoid the dragon’s prickly spines, which are heightened in Titan form!

Fly on to victory with the Shovelhelm at your side!
When you find yourself caught in a whirlwind of chaos, which winged companion do you turn to get you out of a tight spot? While there are already so many to choose from, Astrid and Stormfly recently found themselves turning to School of Dragons' newest resident dragon - the SHOVELHELM! With the upturned shape of its jaw and the lighthearted glint of its eyes, the Shovelhelm can be the friendliest of dragons around - and possibly the most reliable.Read More
And, that’s exactly what the brightest member of the Hofferson clan had in mind when she and Stormfly found themselves watching the training grounds be overrun by both Vikings and dragons too busy preparing for the upcoming clan tournament to care about their path of destruction. Just about ready to call the attention of her fellow trainers with a strength that only she could wield, Astrid realized that things were not as bad as it seemed. And this was all thanks to a single dragon repairing damaged parts of the training grounds, piece by piece as if it were repairing its own home and settling into a new nest.
Surprised to see that the efforts of this dragon alone was the driving force behind ensuring that the village ran smoothly, Astrid and Stormfly became thoroughly impressed by how the Shovelhelm used its strong head to hammer in some planks for a damaged rooftop. Satisfied with the temporary fix, the dragon was already on its way to help fix a broken wagon that was just a few feet away. While others ignored this lone dragon, Astrid confronted the wild creature letting it know that it was safe on school grounds and that it’s continued efforts were welcomed by all. The dragon immediately bonded with her, and allowed her to ride it through the skies. And it was on this first trip that it took Astrid to a nest of eggs that need raising.
Astrid acted quick and assured the dragon that its eggs would be safe with the trainers on campus and the two of them, with the help of Stormfly, flew the eggs over to Johann’s Trading Post. And now, it’s on those very store shelves that you can get your own Shovelhelm!Hide
Beware the Enchanting Melody of the Slithersong
Vikings across campus have already become well acquainted with the Death Song's call, but do you think you have the strength to avoid falling prey to the alluring chant of the mighty SLITHERSONG? Trader Johann certainly did on his most recent expedition! While sailing during the night, he found himself drawn to the mist covered waters of the shipwreck graveyard; when suddenly parts of his ship were cocooned in hardened amber. Just when he thought he had no defense in a seemingly swift attack, it turned out that the nearby dragon shrouded in the heavy mist was actually after the giant eels that were clamoring on the sides of his ship.Read More
While grateful that he was not in direct danger by this eel-filled distraction, Johann was left with a new dilemma. How would he be able to get his goods to Berk now that his ship was anchored down in the dragon’s amber? And it was in that moment of distress that a rogue dragon rider swooped in with a smaller boat to help Johann escape the graveyard with at least a few of his premium-packed crates.
Looking back at the unfortunate fate of his ship as they transferred the goods, Johann couldn't help notice the odd color of the amber. He had assumed that the substance had come from a wild Death Song until he found a number of stowaway Slithersong eggs left on his ship and scattered about his goods. As they carried the items over to the rogue dragon rider’s vessel, it had becomes clear that the wild dragon had just been hastily defending his ship which had been carrying eggs to campus.
And now, you can head over to the Trading Post for a chance to try your hand at training the Slithersong! Extremely solitary like its equally dangerous kin the Death Song, this Mystery Class dragon boasts fantastic firepower and racing speed worthy to become one of a dragon trainer's biggest allies. Imagine the astounding evasive maneuvers you could do with the agility of the Slithersong as you pass fellow Vikings, or smashing through the hull of an invading ship while you team up with your fellow clan members. Start training today!Hide
Timberjacks & Night Terrors Swarm Campus on Snoggletog
The festive season of Snoggletog has brought a number of memorable additions to School of Dragons, but Hiccup and the Headmaster have really outdone themselves with a double dragon release, unveiling the highly anticipated TIMBERJACK and pack-friendly NIGHT TERRORS. Which will you be flying into 2016 with – the wide-winged sharp class companion or the more pint-sized stoker dragon?Read More
While commonly known to navigate the skies as the Taxi dragon on campus, the Timberjack is better acknowledged in the wild for lurking through the forests. With its long, slender build, this dragon can move quickly and suddenly, but those who have seen it in action often tell tales of its ability to cut through obstacles like heavily forested areas of large trees with just one swift wing movement. Previously, most Vikings believed this dragon to be extremely dangerous, but if you dare to bond with your own by picking up an egg at Johann’s Trading Post, you just might tell a different story of this loyal sharp class confidant.
Although, a dragon of that size is not for the faint of heart, so if you’re not quite ready for a Timberjack, maybe a pack of Night Terrors is in your near future instead. Just don’t be fooled by their small size! When flying together, the strength and intelligence of a Night Terror swarm is a force to be reckoned with whether you are a seasoned trainer or new to campus. After all, where do you think they get that terrifyingly fitting name?
