My son is having a problem moving on to unit 3 of Grade 1.  It is saying the he needs to get his parents to login into jumpstart.com and become a memeber.  We already are memebers.  Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

You need to subscribe. If you have already subscribed for the monthly or yearly option, then you have multiple accounts. The games are installed on one account and your subscription is on another account, they can't find each other. If you believe this is the case, drop me a note with all possible email accounts and I can check for you. Email me at support@adventure.com

Why does the company have to be so greedy??? We have already paid for the software, so why should we have to pay again for a membership just to let our children advance through the game? If you are going to require membership in order for game advancement, that should be factored into the price of the game and give the parents a code to enter in order to access their membership. Otherwise, all content within a game that you have already purchased should be accessible, simply by completing the learning games. I feel like I have been completely ripped off by this game. Not a happy customer!!!

It seems as though I am not the only parent who is outraged by these practices as well. I have seen numerous other posts throughout the discussion board of parents complaining about these membership requirements. No matter how many times you guys might say that the package is clear, I must disagree. The package that we have says that there are more than 40 learning activities for the 1st grade game and over 50 learning activities for the 2nd grade game. It also says, "Plus, you can continue the adventure by unlocking thousands of age-appropriate learning activities with JumpStart's optional add-on membership." To me, this implies that there are other activities available online that correspond with the game. This does not in any way tell me that we would be forced to spend more money (seriously...$8.00 a month???) in order for my kids to get full access to a game we have already purchased. I do not want to return the game, but I want your company to step up and take care of their customers. Unless I can sign up for a single months membership, gain access to all other units and have those retained on my computer after I cancel my membership, then you need to figure out some other way to make this right.
